How many sides will the garden be viewed from at the show?
This is more difficult to answer than it seems. The space for the gardens does not get allocated until a few weeks before the show. It is best to implement a design for a garden that can be viewed from at least two sides, one long side and one short side.
Do I have to be a student when I submit the design?
This award is for students who are currently studying design at level 3 or equivalent when they submit their designs by the closing date. They no longer have to be students in the following year when the garden is under construction.
Can I enter as a group or as an individual?
Entries are welcome from individuals or groups.

There is a budget of £5000.00 for hard landscaping materials to construct the garden.

Do I have to source my plants through Wyevale East Nurseries?
Yes, all plants used in the winning entry must be sourced from Wyevale East Nurseries. Plants can be sourced even if they are not in stock at Wyevale East Nurseries at the time of your submission. We will do our utmost to source your requirements to fulfil your planting plan.

Who will construct and staff the winning garden?
Winning entries must arrange their own team for construction during the build time and staffing of the garden during the show. Transport and accommodation is also the winning entrant's responsibility.
